Cruising on the Silk Road 1
August 2009. I find myself on the Silk Road armed only with a camera and some nuts
Kashgar before, during and after Chinese clean-up (Silk Road 2)
I went to Xinjiang to document the old city of Kashgar before the Chinese raze it to the ground. Turns out I came too late.
I think my photos are especially suitable for adverts, for example to be used for the purpose of selling Rolex watches.
I’m thinking the copy could be something like this: “Do you want to be big and strong and beat up all your rivals and have a large penis but don’t have time? Get a Rolex! That way everybody will think you are all of the above, and more!”
Or luxury sports cars.
“Don’t walk around all day; it ruins your shoes and image. Get an Aston Martin Lagonda for that careless, non-walking look. Today!”
Come to think of it, you could hire me as a copy writer as well as buying my photos …
